Candle paint
What can be used to colour wax? Handmade candle making uses a whole palette of colours and their combinations. Candle dye can be liquid, or you can find candle dyes in the form of pastilles and solid materials. Natural candle dyes can also be used. We add the dye to the candle when the wax is heated to pouring temperature. We add the dye to the wax in small doses, and after thorough mixing, we can add more dye to achieve the desired saturation. Candle dyes are designed for soy wax, paraffin, palm wax or candle gel.
