Subtle transparent tones that don't interfere with the natural motif
When casting natural materials, transparent colours and very fine pearl powders are ideal. The goal is to enhance the motif, not to cover it up. Dose the pigment sparingly and only colour some layers.
- Warm tones (amber, honey) enhance the 'vintage' look of flowers.
- Cool tones (ice blue, grey) emphasise the contrast in leaves and shells.
- Leave part of the casting completely clear for maximum optical depth.
