Grinding, polishing

The final step with resin will be sanding and polishing the resin - sanding epoxy resin. We will need to sand resin jewellery, the edges of coasters, grind various products or decorations made of resin into different shapes, or we will be sanding a resin table. Pouring wood with resin or making a table from resin assumes that the resin will be sanded together with the wood. Sandpapers designed for sanding resin do this job perfectly. An epoxy resin table, where a pattern is cast or only part of the surface is, will need sanding at the end. How do you sand resin? When sanding resin, it is necessary to gradually choose the grit, as needed, from 80 to 2000. A grit of 2000 already provides an almost transparent surface, slightly matte. After further steps of sanding the resin, sanding with 2000 to 3000 grit sandpaper follows polishing. We can achieve completely glossy and perfectly transparent surfaces with subsequent polishing, here comes the polishing paste for resin. For sanding resin, we use special sandpaper that is developed for this work.
