Resin grinding underwater
For sanding resin jewellery, fine sandpaper designed for wet sanding can be used. When wet sanding, we can sand resin jewellery that is completely enclosed in resin, such as dried flowers or other decorative materials, or resin jewellery made using a resin bed. Wet sanding certainly has its advantage, especially in washing away the sanded resin. When dry sanding, we must ensure that no sanded resin remains under the sandpaper, as this would "re-scratch" the sanded surface. After sanding the resin with a grit of 2000 - 3000 (very fine), we can polish the resin product with polishing paste. Manually or with an electric sander.
