How to cast without bubbles

1. Preparation: rinse the mould with lukewarm water and mild soap, and dry without any fibre residue.
2. Mixing: prepare the resin according to the manufacturer's instructions; mix slowly and carefully scrape the walls of the cup.
3. Pouring: pour a thin stream down the side of the mould so that the bubbles stay near the surface.
4. Curing: observe the recommended times and temperature for your epoxy resin.
5. Finishing: after removal, the bottom edge can be gently chamfered with an abrasive and polished if necessary.

Safe use of the candlestick

• Always use a tea light candle in a metal cup and place it in the prepared holder.
• Place the candlestick on a non-flammable and level surface, away from draughts and out of reach of children or animals.
• Do not leave the candle burning unattended; epoxy is not intended for contact with open flame.

Design Tips

• Marbling: gently drag two to three colours through with a skewer to create veining.
• Terrazzo effect: mix small coloured chips into clear or milky resin.
• Natural look: try dried leaves, mini flowers or metal flakes – less is more.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: lukewarm water + mild soap; do not use abrasives or sharp tools.
• Solvents: no aggressive cleaners; use isopropanol only exceptionally and wipe quickly.
• Storage: Flat, away from sunlight and without compression – for long mould life.
