Circles, squares and geode shapes for 3D effects
Silicone geode moulds and clean edge panels make repeatability easier. For base boards (MDF/plywood), use framing or tape to create a raised edge for the 'flood coat'.
- Insert crystal fillings (glass pebbles) until gelation.
- Protect the edges with tape, remove it after partial gelation for a sharp drop.
- For multiple layers, observe the 'window' for chemical bonding of the layers.
