Product detailed description
A 6 mm threaded clock movement with black hands with a second hand and a black mirrored center 98/75 is a practical set for assembling your own clock. It will be used by creators of clocks from epoxy resin, wood and plywood, as well as for renovations of older clocks or DIY projects from various materials.
What the kit contains
- clock movement with a thread of approx. 6 mm,
- black hour hand (approx. 75 mm from the center to the tip),
- black minute hand (approx. 98 mm from the center to the tip),
- black second hand,
- black mirrored center (cover for the movement nut),
- mounting nut and washer.
For products with a second hand, we do not state its exact length – it is clearly visible in the photo and can be easily shortened with scissors or cutters if necessary.
Clocks – what projects is it suitable for
- Clocks from epoxy resin – round and square boards, geodes, resin paintings,
- Clocks from wooden boards, plywood, OSB or solid wood,
- moss and floral clocks, concrete and plaster dials,
- renovation of older wall or table clocks.
Technical parameters
- Type: quartz clock movement (powered by 1× AA battery – not included),
- Thread length: approx. 6 mm – suitable for dials up to approx. 3 mm thick,
- Hand colour: black,
- Minute hand length: approx. 98 mm (from the center to the tip),
- Hour hand length: approx. 75 mm (from the center to the tip),
- Center: black mirror cover – covers the screw and gives the dial an elegant look.
Assembly – brief instructions
- Prepare the clock face – drill the central hole according to the diameter of the movement's shaft and clean the surface.
- Insert the movement from the back through the hole and secure it from the front with the washer and nut.
- Attach the hands sequentially – first the hour hand, then the minute hand, and finally the second hand.
- Finally, snap on the black mirror center, insert the battery, and set the time.
If you are making resin clocks, we recommend maintaining a flat clock face and drilling the hole only after complete curing, so that the movement is precisely seated and the hands move freely and without hindrance.
