8 mm thread – for thinner dials and constructions

The set includes a clock movement with an approximately 8 mm thread, which is suitable for:

• thinner wooden boards, plywood, MDF, etc.,
• lower castings made of epoxy resin,
• cardboard and lightweight decorative dials,
• metal frames and constructions where the dial is formed, for example, by a central plate only.

A short thread is ideal wherever you don't want a long shaft to unnecessarily protrude from the front of the dial.

Extra Large Silver Hands 315/237 mm

The package contains two large silver hands – minute and hour. Thanks to their length, they are suitable for really large clocks, visible even from a greater distance.

For all hands in our e-shop, the same measurement rule applies:

The lengths of the hands are always measured from the center of the axis (center of attachment) to the longest end of the hand.

• minute hand: approx. 315 mm from the center of the axis to the tip,
• hour hand: approx. 237 mm from the center of the axis to the tip.

This size allows the hands to comfortably reach almost to the edge of large dials while maintaining good readability of time even in spacious rooms.

No second hand – a clean and calm look for large clocks

Assembly instructions

1. Prepare the dial with a hole for the movement shaft.
2. Insert the movement from the back of the dial so that the thread passes through the hole towards the front.
3. From the front, place the washer (if included) and tighten the nut.
4. Attach the hour hand (at the 12 o'clock position), then the minute hand (also at the 12 o'clock position).
5. Check that the hands do not touch the dial or each other when rotating.
6. Insert the battery into the movement and verify the smooth operation of the hands.
