What it's good for
Elegant coasters and trays, candle holders, decorative bowls, edging trims, jewellery and geode motifs in resin paintings. The clear glass adds purity to the castings and a strong refraction of light without colour distortion.

- "Crystal" effect – distinctive sparkle and depth, even in smaller quantities.
- Mix of sizes – ideal for creating fine edges and centre fillings.
How to cast in epoxy (cleanly and without bubbles)
- Cleaning: Briefly rinse the pieces and dry completely (moisture = bubbles).
- First clear layer: pour a thin clear layer and let it slightly gel so that the decor does not sink.
- Arrangement: Arrange the pieces with tweezers; do not overfill so that the epoxy flows around them well.
- Encapsulation: Slowly pour a clear coating layer; pour steadily so that air can escape.
- Finish: After hardening, add a thin clear layer for a perfectly smooth "mirror".
Design Tips
- Negative space: Leave part of the surface clear – the refraction and "icy" appearance will stand out.
- Subtle tinting: a drop of transparent pigment under the glass will add depth without losing transparency.
- Geode edge: create a thin rim from fragments around the edge of the coaster, leaving the centre clear.
Safety and care
- Not intended for direct contact with food. Use for decorations and jewellery.
- Work in gloves and according to the instructions for your resin. Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
