An accurate digital scale is required to correctly weigh both resin components (component A and component B). We will weigh the amount of resin for smaller products on a smaller scale - these are usually jewellery digital scales with a weighing capacity of up to 500g and an accuracy of 0.001g. For preparing smaller quantities of resin, it is necessary to choose these fine scales to ensure an accurate weight ratio of both components. For preparing larger quantities, a digital scale up to 2kg or 5kg and 10kg is sufficient. These will be kitchen digital scales with an accuracy of 0.1g.
