Platinum 40SH Mould Silicone is a two-component silicone for creating moulds for resin casting. The resulting mould is more rigid (20SH very soft silicone, 30SH medium-rigid and 40SH more rigid silicone). Platinum 40SH Silicone has poorer air release - for a perfect result, use a vacuum chamber, it is very fine - characterised by perfect flow and perfectly copies the surface of the scanned shape. It is very tough and very resistant to tension with a low shrinkage rate (loss) of 0.1% after curing.

Properties:

- Mixing ratio by weight 1:1
- Mixed volume of 1 litre at a time
- Maximum casting layer height 100mm
- Provides a hardness of 40 Shore A after curing
- Processing time: 10 minutes
- Curing time: 12-16 hours (depending on ambient temperature and amount of material cast)
- Ideally processed at 22 - 23 °C

Warning:
Mix both components very thoroughly. Mix slowly for 4-5 minutes.
