Crystal colors - TACO series

Crystal colours – TACO range

What the TACO range offers

  • Crystal clear result – colours without losing transparency and depth.
  • High efficiency – economical for large volumes and repeated casting.
  • Mixability – TACO colours can be combined with each other to create your own shades.

Dosage and mixing

  • Start very small: typically 0.1–0.5% of the weight of the mixed resin (A+B).
  • For a richer tone, you can go to approximately 1–2% – the resin remains transparent.
  • Add the colour drop by drop to the already mixed clear resin and mix slowly (fewer bubbles).
  • For larger doses, record the ratios for the same shade in subsequent castings.

Tips for a crystal look

  • Pour thinner layers – the shade will appear darker in deeper zones.
  • Combine clear zones with tinted ones for greater depth and a spatial effect.
  • Avoid overheating with a heat gun; it can change the shade and encourage bubbles.
Warning: Excessive amounts of colour can reduce clarity and prolong or disrupt curing. Dose gradually and test on a small sample.
