Polishing microfibre cloths
Sanding resin jewellery and smaller decorations is the first step before polishing. For manual resin sanding, we use sandpaper from coarse grit (for example, 600 - 1000) to fine sanding, up to a grit of 3000. Epoxy resin polishing can be done in one step with EpoxFinal 3000 resin polishing paste. For manual resin polishing, we use a microfibre cloth to which we apply a sufficient amount of polishing paste. And how do you polish resin? Using circular motions and gentle pressure, polish your resin product until it has a complete shine. If scratches and scoring remain visible on the surface after polishing, it means you haven't sanded enough. Then the whole process needs to be repeated. EpoxFinal 3000 epoxy resin polishing paste should remain constantly damp. We can moisten the microfibre cloth with water. For better resin polishing results, we recommend a hand grinder-polisher using polishing discs.
