Polishing pastes
How to polish resin? Polishing epoxy resin precedes its sanding in gradual steps from the coarsest grit to the finest. A coarser grit is chosen according to the surface that needs to be sanded and levelled. Some products will be sanded, for example, from grit 240 - 400, to level out rough imperfections, or we start sanding from grit 800 for smaller objects and surfaces - sanding resin jewellery that only needs minor imperfections to be "fine-tuned". Polishing resin precedes sanding and sanding and polishing always follow each other. EpoxFinal 3000 epoxy polishing paste is a one-steppolishing paste for resin and follows on from sandpaper for sanding resin after sanding with 3000 grit. An epoxy sander fitted with closed-cell foam or a car body polisher is the most commonly used equipment for polishing resin on larger surfaces; for smaller objects, it will be a hand sander fitted with polishing discs.
