Resin deaeration
Bubbles in resin have no place in your projects. How to work with resin to subsequently remove air bubbles after casting? We always want resin without bubbles. A heat gun or torch is used for de-airing casting resin. Hot air directed at the surface of the cast epoxy resin (approx. 15 cm) will "drive" air bubbles out of the resin. In contrast, a
torch that sucks in ambient air will "pull" bubbles out of the epoxy resin. Defoamer for epoxy casting resins ODP 100 can also be used for resin without bubbles. Another and single and perfect way is to use a vacuum chamber. The vacuum chamber, into which we place the mixed resin (component A and B), creates a vacuum in the liquid, thereby extracting all the bubbles from the resin.
