Resin pigments
Epoxy resins are clear casting resins that can be very well coloured. You might be asking: "What can I use to colour resin?" There are various ways to colour casting resin. For example, epoxy resin pigments can help us, serving as a dye for the resin. Epoxy resin pigment (resin colour) can have different consistencies. We classify pigments for resin with a denser consistency as pastes. We classify pigments for resin in a diluted state as liquid pigments. And we know resin powder as loose materials. Resin pigment is added in the required amount, and the range includes many different shades. By gradually adding pigment, up to 10% of the total weight share of resin components A+B, we obtain different saturated resin colourings. Their use in epoxy resins varies and depends on the intention and what resin product we want to create. Pigments for epoxy make the casting resin opaque. By using pigment in the resin, we get full, saturated colours - these pigments are also referred to as "solid colour". A separate area is effect pigments, such as 3D diffusion pigment or alcohol inks. Resin pigments, powders or pastes make the casting resin opaque.
