UNIEPOX 20-24-650 UV+ Casting Epoxy Resin is an epoxy resin suitable for beginners with a wide range of uses.
Advantages:
- good spontaneous air release
- Perfectly glossy surface after pouring and curing
- Low viscosity
- Extended processing time
For resin products:
- products with a casting height of 10-20mm
- Keychains, letters, numbers, coasters, jewellery, pendants, earrings, rings, photo frames, cake stands, small decorations, bed and frames, bookmarks
The following moulds can be used for casting:
- silicone moulds
Properties:
- two-component resin (component A resin / component B hardener)
- clear
- density after mixing component A+B 650mPa.s (300mPa.s extra low viscosity - 9000mPa.s extra high viscosity)
- weight mixing ratio 150 : 100 (for example, 150g of component A and 100g of component B)
- volume mixed at one time 1 litre
- maximum height of cast layer 10-20mm
- after curing provides a surface and casting hardness of 79 Shore D (56 Shore D medium hard - 90 Shore D very hard)
- processing time 120 minutes
- curing time 24 hours (depending on ambient temperature and amount of material cast), flat and low products need several days to fully cure
- processing ideally at 22 - 23 °C
Pigmentation and colouring:
- For transparent colouring, use resin dyes
- For opaque colouring, use resin pigments
- Luminous powder or metallic powder can be added to the resin to give it a specific appearance
- Decorative materials can be added to the resin - glitter, dried flowers and decorative flakes
- Use alcohol inks for special effects
Packaging:
1kg total component A+B
Warning:
- The processing temperature (mixing, casting) must not fall below 20 °C.
- Temperature fluctuations must not occur during curing - a negative effect on the cured surface.
- The mixing ratio of component A + B is by weight. To maintain the ratio, we do not recommend volumetric measurement; both components must be weighed!
The substance mixture is classified as hazardous (EC) No. 1272/2008
