UNIEPOX 20-24-650 UV+ Casting Epoxy Resin is a clear, all-purpose resin designed for a wide range of decorative projects. Thanks to its low viscosity, good self-venting properties, and extended working time, it is very pleasant to work with – giving you plenty of time for mixing colours, arranging decorations, and careful pouring into moulds. The set contains two components A+B with a total weight of 1 kg.

What products is UNIEPOX suitable for

The resin is intended for products with a casting layer height of 10–20 mm. It is ideal for:

• keychains, letters and numbers,
• coasters, small plates and decorations,
• resin jewelry – pendants, earrings, rings, settings and frames,
• photo frames, tiered stands and bookmarks,
• other small castings in silicone molds.

Recommended moulds

• for pouring, use high-quality silicone moulds that allow for easy removal of the finished casting and repeated use,
• for custom moulds or bases, ensure the surface is smooth, clean, and degreased.

Properties of UNIEPOX 20-24-650 UV+ Resin

• two-component epoxy resin (component A – resin / component B – hardener),
• clear, suitable for transparent and colored castings,
• viscosity after mixing A+B approx. 650 mPa·s (for illustration: 300 mPa·s = extra thin, 9000 mPa·s = extra thick),
• weight mixing ratio 3 : 2,
• Volume mixed at one time max. approx. 0.5 litres,
• maximum casting layer height 10–20 mm,
• hardness after curing approx. 79 Shore D (56 Shore D = medium hard, 90 Shore D = very hard),
• processing time approx. 120 minutes,
• curing time approx. 24 hours (depends on ambient temperature and material quantity – flat and low products may require several days for complete curing),
• ideal working temperature is 22–23 °C,
• Package weight A+B: 1 kg.

UNIEPOX pigmentation and coloring

• for transparent coloring, use special resins dyes,
• for opaque (covering) coloring, choose high-quality resin pigments,
• for special effects, you can add glowing powder or metallic powder,
• you can embed glitters, dried flowers, decorative flakes and other decorative materials into the resin,
• for "marble" or smoky effects, use alcohol inks.

Note on working with resin

• temperature during mixing and casting must not drop below 20 °C,
• avoid significant temperature fluctuations during curing – they can negatively affect the final surface,
• mixing ratio A+B is always by weight – weigh the components, volumetric measurement is not recommended,
