Casting Epoxy Resin FLOWERA 20-24-950

FLOWERA is a crystal-clear epoxy resin designed for casting dried flowers, making jewellery, and small decorations in combination with dried plants and natural materials.

Properties and Technical Parameters

• Two-component epoxy (component A: resin / component B: hardener)
• Clear, glossy after curing
• Density after mixing A+B: 950 mPa·s
• Mixing ratio: 100 : 40 (2.5 : 1) by weight
• Maximum volume of mixture at one time: 0.5 litre
• Maximum height of one layer: 1–20 mm
• Hardness after curing: 83 Shore D
• Processing time: approx. 60 minutes
• Curing time: approx. 24 hours (depending on temperature and layer thickness)
• Optimum processing temperature: 20–23 °C

Pigmentation and Colouring

• For transparent colouring, use resin dyes
• For an opaque effect, use resin pigments
• Luminous powder, metallic powders, glitter, dried flowers and decorative flakes can be added
• For original effects, we recommend alcohol inks

Important warning

• The temperature during mixing and casting must not fall below 18 °C
• During curing, it is necessary to ensure stable temperature conditions
• Use precise weight measurement – volumetric measurement is not suitable!
• A higher ambient temperature during resin curing reduces the safe maximum height of a single cast layer

The mixture is classified as a hazardous substance according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.

Component A:
