FLOWERA 20-24-950 Casting Epoxy Resin Clear UV++

FLOWERA 20-24-950 is a crystal-clear epoxy resin primarily designed for casting dried flowers and natural materials. It is ideal for creating jewelry, pendants, small decorations, and small objects where you want to preserve the fine detail of petals, leaves, grasses, or other botanical fragments.

Thanks to its low viscosity, very good self-degassing, and glossy finish after curing, it is suitable for both beginners and more advanced crafters who want to achieve clean, clear, and aesthetically striking castings.

Resin Uses

Properties and Technical Parameters

• Type: two-component epoxy (component A: resin / component B: hardener),
• optics: clear, glossy after curing,
• Density after mixing A+B: approx. 950 mPa·s,
• Mixing ratio: 100 : 40 (by weight, approx. 2.5 : 1),
• maximum volume of mixed mixture at once: approx. 0.5 liters,
• Maximum height of a single layer: approx. 1–20 mm,
• Hardness after curing: approx. 83 Shore D,
• working time: approximately 60 minutes,
• curing time: approx. 24 hours (depending on ambient temperature and layer thickness),
• Optimal processing temperature: 20–23 °C.

Pigmentation and Colouring

• for transparent coloring, use suitable resin dyes,
• for opaque (covering) effect, choose high-quality resin pigments,
• you can add glow-in-the-dark powder, metallic powders, and effects to the resin,
• for glittery accents, use glitters and sparkles,
• suitable for embedding dried flowers, leaves, and other natural decorations,
• for original effects, we recommend alcohol inks.

Important warning

• temperature during mixing and pouring must not drop below 18 °C,
• during curing, stable temperature conditions without significant fluctuations must be ensured,
• always use precise weight measurement – volume measurement is not suitable,
• higher ambient temperature during resin curing reduces the safe maximum height of a single poured layer – for larger volumes, it is better to pour in layers.
