Resin for paintings and geodes

Resin art is a popular theme for creating with epoxy resin. The unlimited number of formats, colours and moods makes this theme almost inexhaustible. Colouring resin, saturating it with various powders and pigments, decorating it with glass grit, natural pebbles and adding various effect pigments (such as the sea effect) opens up unlimited possibilities in this theme, and epoxy resin for creating becomes a new artistic material. Selected PourArt resins for paintings have their specific properties (epoxy resin painting). Art resin is characterised by higher density. The reason for the higher density is the need to stabilise the individual cast colour layers so that they do not mix with each other. Epoxy paintings - artresin - are usually created on a suitable supporting base, such as a painting board, painting canvas, plywood and the like. Geode Art can be considered a separate topic. Resin geodes mimic cuts of stones and minerals and are often very faithfully close to indistinguishable natural gems. A template is often used to make geodes, with which we create the desired shape, and using Art resin (resin for paintings), glass grit of various sizes and shades, metallic powders and pebbles, we create works that we call Geode Art.
