What you can create with the mould

Large decorative spheres – clear and coloured, with glitter, pearl or natural inclusions (flowers, leaves, pebbles). Also suitable as a 'paperweight', lamp decorations or collector's items with unique effects.

How to cast without bubbles

1. Preparation: rinse the mould with lukewarm water and mild soap, and dry without any fibre residue.
2. Alignment: join the halves and secure them with Washi tape or a rubber band.
3. Mixing: prepare the resin according to the instructions; mix slowly to reduce bubbles.
4. Pouring: pour in a thin stream along the wall; for larger volumes, it is advisable to pour in 2–3 layers or use a low-exothermic mixture.
5. Curing: observe the recommended times and temperature for your epoxy resin.
6. Finishing: after removal, gently knock off the thin collar along the joint and polish if necessary.

Design Tips

• Depth effect: first a thin clear layer, then an effect mixture – creates a distinctive spatiality.
• Marbling: lightly drag 2–3 colours with a skewer to create veins.
• Fine glitter and pearl: a pinch is enough – the spherical shape multiplies the refraction of light.

Mould maintenance

• Cleaning: lukewarm water + mild soap; do not use abrasives or sharp tools.
• Solvents: no aggressive cleaners; use isopropanol only exceptionally and wipe quickly.
• Storage: Flat, away from sunlight and without compression – for long mould life.
