How to cast without bubbles

1. Preparation: rinse the mould with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry with a lint-free cloth.
2. Mixing: prepare the resin according to the instructions; mix slowly and carefully scrape the walls of the container.
3. Pouring: Pour in a thin stream along the wall of the mould; when using decorations, you can pour in 2 layers (clear + effect).
4. Curing: observe the recommended times and temperature for your epoxy resin.
5. Finishing: Any micro-edges can be gently knocked down and a thin clear layer applied for a "mirror" finish.

Design Tips

• Terrazzo effect: Mix small coloured chips into a clear or milky mixture.
• Marbling: Gently pull 2–3 colours through with a skewer to create fine veins.
• Natural look: Use dried mini flowers, leaves or metal flakes sparingly – less is more.

Safe use

• The epoxy product is not intended for contact with food or high temperatures.
• Use an additional mat for hot mugs; protect the epoxy from heat and scratches.
• Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Mould maintenance

• Cleaning: lukewarm water + mild soap; do not use abrasives or sharp tools.
• Solvents: no aggressive cleaners; use isopropanol only exceptionally and wipe quickly.
• Storage: Flat, away from sunlight and without compression – for long mould life.
