What is bun (hummock) moss
Bun moss, often referred to as Ball moss, is a stabilised natural material with distinctive "bunches". The stabilisation gently replaces the natural moisture, so the moss retains its softness, flexibility and colour for a very long time – without watering and without direct light. The spring green shade looks fresh and brightens wood, concrete and epoxy parts of the decor.

Appearance and natural variability
In the package you will find tufts with an approximate diameter of 4–7 cm and a height of 2–3 cm. It is a 100% natural material – the shape, size and saturation may vary slightly. Before installation, spread the tufts "dry" and fine-tune the spacing and rhythm of the composition.
Care and long-term appearance
- No watering or spraying required – the moss maintains its appearance on its own, normal room humidity is sufficient.
- Indoor use – place away from direct bright sunlight and sources of radiant heat.
- Cleaning – gently blow off dust or remove with a soft brush.
Placement and limits
Bochánkový moss is intended exclusively for indoor use. In resin projects, it is usually not coated with epoxy so that it remains soft and has a more plastic effect; it is used as a natural element next to epoxy parts.

The material comes from European forests and is harvested with respect for the environment. It is stabilised and coloured for decorative use.

How does "spring green" differ from other shades?
It's a fresh, lighter shade that brightens the composition. It contrasts perfectly with darker wood and clear/coloured epoxy surfaces.
Are ball mosses always the same size?
No – each piece is unique. Differences in diameter (approx. 3–7 cm) and height (approx. 1–3 cm) are natural and make the result more vibrant.
Can I coat the moss buns with epoxy?
We do not recommend it. Coating would remove the softness, 3D structure and natural appearance. In projects, they are used as an uncoated natural accent next to the resin.
Does the moss smell or stain the surroundings?
When used normally indoors, it does not smell or stain the surroundings. Work in a clean environment and avoid rubbing against textiles during installation.
What if some of the moss balls arrive compressed?
Let them air out freely and gently fluff them with your fingers during installation. The natural variability of shape is to be expected with this material.
How to store leftover moss correctly?
In a dry place, away from sunlight, in a resealable box or bag. Do not compress – this will preserve the shape and flexibility of the moss balls.
