In the Small Standing Resin Clock KV01 course, you will create your own standing clock using a silicone mould, wood, and resin for wood.

What will you create in the course?
- You will create your own designer standing clock made of wood and resin fitted with a clock movement

What will you learn in the course?
- Preparation of resin for wood - component ratios, weighing resin
- Selection of wood and preparation of wood shapes for the mould - adapting the shape of the wood on a band saw
- Wood penetration - applying a penetrating coating to the wood
- Removing air bubbles from the resin using a vacuum chamber - degassing in a vacuum chamber
- Pouring resin into the mould with wood - the actual pouring into the mould

We hold courses regularly every Saturday. After purchasing the course, we will contact you to specify the date of the course.

We start the course at 10:00 with a planned end at 13:00 and discussion and questions until 14:00.

Who is the course instructor?
My name is Bedřich Ellmrich and some of you may already know me. You have visited my e-shop with casting resins PourArt or we have seen each other in person or heard each other in some of the telephone consultations that I was happy to provide you. From 1.3. 2025 I dedicate myself to wood for epoxy and courses of casting resin in combination with wood and the production of design pieces from wood and resin. My wish is to pass on my many years of experience with resin to you so that you can successfully realise your own products from wood and resin.

Work safety during the course
Safety equipment is available on site: gloves, work aprons, safety glasses, protective shield. If you would prefer to use your own safety equipment, such as glasses, please bring them with you. You can request a respiratory protective mask. We will not be using it due to the small project and sufficient ventilation, but it will certainly be available. Please dress practically for the course (there is an opportunity to change on site).

Break, refreshments
During the course break, you will receive complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water. For the hungry - you can consume your own refreshments under the pergola.

What will happen to your product?
Your product, after it has hardened, will be sent free of charge to your address or you can store it with us for the next Resin Grinding and Polishing course.

Certificate
Course graduates will receive a certificate of completion from us.
