Sanding and polishing resin in our products is an important final step. For machine sanding of epoxy resin, you will need an epoxy sander, preferably with speed control - an eccentric sander. For sanding resin, we recommend sandpaper for sanding resin, namely KOVAX sandpaper. They are designed for sanding epoxy resin and offer the highest quality. They cover grit from P40 to P600. From grit P600, we move on to sanding epoxy resin with sandpaper marked Super Assilex. We sand with these up to grit P3000. Our product can be left sanded to grit P3000, giving us a very fine, satin finish. Polishing resin is the next step if we want to bring the resin to an absolute shine. We polish epoxy resin with a closed-cell foam pad. EpoxFinal 3000 epoxy polishing paste is a one-step product. This means that after sanding the resin with P3000 grit, EpoxFinal 3000 resin polishing paste can polish the resin to a perfect high gloss. You can also read how to polish resin in our blog.
