The Assilex M interlayer is designed for sandpaper for dry hand sanding of resin. It is inserted between the Hand Block for sandpapers and the sandpaper itself. The interlayer is a key member in resin sanding. It serves to level out unevenness and evenly distribute pressure on the sanding surface. We recommend using it for grit sizes K1500 to K3000. We carry out sanding with coarser sandpapers without the interlayer.
