Polishing discs
Clear casting resin is an excellent material for crafting – and often it comes down to polishing resin. Polishing resin is quite easy if you use professional products. We'll start with coarser sanding, using sandpaper with a grit of P40 - P600. This is especially useful for surfaces where it's necessary to sand down thicker layers of resin or level the cast surface. The next step in sanding casting resin continues with a grit of K600 - K1200. You can start with this step if the surface of the casting resin is sufficiently level. Very fine resin sanding continues with a grit of K1500 - K3000. You can start with this step if you are happy with the surface and want to polish it. And finally, we're at the polishing stage! Using a polishing wheel and polishing paste, you can achieve the desired final finish. You can also find the epoxy resin polishing procedure in our BLOG. With gradual practice with epoxy resin, you will learn to achieve excellent results.
