Marble powder is a very fine loose material (3.6µm). Marble powder can be used in the production of resin coasters, resin bowls and containers, and other larger volume decorations. Adding marble powder to casting resin creates an opaque whitish mixture that can be freely coloured and pigmented. A suitable combination of transparent colours gives us an imitation of natural stones such as Agate and Malachite. We add marble powder to the casting resin up to a maximum of 50% of the weight of the prepared resin. In combination with marble powder, we reduce the cost of our product made of casting resin; we can add up to 400g of powder to 1kg of resin. This gives us 1.5 kg of mixture for our resin products.
